Dr. Hess replaced two joints in my fingers 10 weeks ago. I have had osteoarthritis since I was 39 and my fingers over the years have become bent and extremely painful. Another doctor said all he could do is fuse them but when I checked with Dr. Hess, he said he could replace the joints with silicone joints. I am so glad to say that the pain is gone in those fingers. They are still stiff but after 10 weeks of physical therapy, I have full use of my fingers and am ready to sign up for two more fingers on my other hand. Dr. Hess has been amazing through this entire procedure. I didn’t even know this was possible and am so glad that I continued looking and asking questions.
